I call it soda too. So close to Canada. We don’t have those here but one day I will have a soda fountain machine installed in my office suite lmao

Do you still live in the area? Are there lines in the morning at theee places? I personally enjoy soda quite a bit (I don’t drink alcohol) so I won’t hate but just find the cultural aspect super fascinating (as a catholic in metro Detroit who eats paczki every Fat Tuesday lol)

Last year I took all 3 of my kids including a then toddler to the mall to browse for calendars (it’s become a fun tradition) and in my fluster accidentally grabbed a SpongeBob calendar and it has so much whimsy and made me laugh almost every month. It was great.

The most uninspired calendar I’ve ever bought at 50% off two days after Christmas.
