okay thanks. I’m not really following, so. narrow windows seem like a sure way to exclude a lot of good work. but I’m sure people are short-staffed and undercompensated, and a lot is just solicited to make things easier.

i HIGHLY recommend buying 28 Days Later. it has randomly disappeared for rent or purchase from all streaming services in the USA, for months at a time. i had to have this copy express shipped because it happened during a semester i was teaching it.

buying a handful of beloved director’s or extended cut films so i actually own physical media that is not tied to subscription platforms, subject to changes in digital licensing restrictions, etc.

ICE will become a parallel military. They will have enormous power and money with little accountability or oversight - and Stephen Miller will give them massive quotas of arrests to make. The ways that this is going to go wrong - and the number of innocent people who will be hurt - are uncountable.
