Wild. In the recent U.S. bill that passed. I think us Canadians need to be aware of this. Looks like a $250 USD fee every time you go to the States (or at least each time you have to get a visitor visa). Makes me wonder if this fee will apply when connecting through a US airport.

And for those that pledge, there is almost nothing they can do once the creator decides to take the money and run.

A serious issue at Kickstarter - the number of creators that get funded, take the money, and deliver nothing is too high. I've encountered two of them. Giving your money to a Kickstarter project is a massive risk. The latest one to deliver nothing and take my $:

Let's Encrypt now does free certificates for IP addresses. I've never really seen anyone setup up a site on an IP (I guess if it's somehow like a known IP like 8.8.8.8 it could make sense).

Wow, this is huge. So many Hkvision cameras out there (I was working on one yesterday). In these cases, the Government should provide specific evidence so IT providers can make an informed choice.

- the visual elements are kind of meh
- call screening seems like it will be hard to get right, hold assist could be very useful
- widgets in carplay (what took them so long?)
- live translation could be the best feature there
- visual intelligence looks great

Marc Garneau dead at 76 Marc Garneau has died at the age of 76, according to a statement from his family. He was the first Canadian to go into space and flew on three space shuttle missions.
