The faintest #rainbow just as the sun was about to rise! Almost missed it and was about to dismiss as a contrail. Then, didn’t add up in my mind as to the direction and orientation if it were a contrail. Never seen anything like this ever before.

The loss of dark skies is so painful, astronomers coined a new term for it 'Noctalgia' is a feature of the modern age.

This fungus is called fairy fingers (botanical name: Clavaria fragilis). Never seen it before. Interesting fact is that it’s edible but tasteless!

Found an almond like nut inside a nectarine. They’re all from the same prunus family so it wasn’t a surprise. The surprise was the taste. I was expecting it to be bitter. But it tasted like soaked almonds, soft and juicy.

I only buy organic fruits and tree ripened where possible, if that matters.

Not sure how many here fans of FR24… on FB, there’s a community that discusses various spottings. This one was clearly an imaging error in my mind, but someone asked anyway. The response was comic genius.
