Quests needed for completing the game aren’t marked so it’s a guessing game.

Some unlock stuff and some can lock other events from what I understand.

It’s not open world as you have a world map where you choose which areas to enter and you can’t go everywhere from the start.

But in spirit, you have multiple paths to choose, both in dialogue choices and with quests. It’s open enough that there seems to be multiple ways to complete the game.

Also the glimmer system is still a bit obscure to me, this is my first Saga game. Often wondering if I’m doing the right things 😂

If I had a better sense of what I should do, I would appreciate it better. But I guess it’s just a me problem. BG3 taught me I shouldn’t want to get things 100% right 😆

The story is on the background, that’s why I had trouble sticking to it.

In the first part, it’s set up nicely, with a bit of hand holding and tutorials.

Then, you’re completely free to explore as you like and discover little bits of the past (akin to Zelda BotW).

Crossplay really should be a standard for most games, it’s already hard to find people to play the same game then you have to figure out a common version 😥

Oh Granblue Relink ! I’ve finished the story and liked the game a lot but couldn’t be arsed to grind for completing at least one character skill tree 😅 seemed like too much grinding

Couldn’t find any custom faceplate available for Tamagotchi Uni that I liked so I went for a sparkly protective shell 🩵
