This is why the elder millennial vs. regular millennial distinction is critical.

I would absolutely play a game where Zach Berman was a playable character, in fact the hero, with @bowulf.bsky.social his final boss.

I’m working on a short narrative game where you’re an aquarium salesman when Zach walks in the door, and you have to see how much you can get him to spend.

hi, baseball expert here! this is not funny, baseball managers only do this when they're in extreme distress

I know this is disappointing but at least we can agree on the #1 move the Phillies need to make, and that’s getting rid of Aaron Nola. It wouldn’t have changed this outcome but come on it would rule.

Caleb Cotham remains the most important member of the Phillies coaching staff.

Correct. You also had to make 3 runs stand up. That's enough to win the game with your ace on the hill and every pitcher on full rest.

Bader was the guy who was clearly keeping them unclenched and now he's hurt and--well--they're clenched again.

I have been very resistant to being a fatalist about the Phillies but unfortunately it is totally over. They are dead in the water and they have no shot either in this game or in this series.

Tap into the strategic booing reserves. That’s why we have them.

I think he is probably fired if they lose that game. I believe I said previously that I thought he was going to be fired unless they reached the Super Bowl.

I genuinely wonder at what point Nick became unfireable for them. Either way, I'm excited for the GJ Kinne era to begin for the Eagles offense next year.

I think the Eagles were in a very weird situation last year where they were pretty sure they were going to fire Sirianni from about Week 5 forward and then he won the Super Bowl and it's hard to impose the front office's OC on a guy who just won the Super Bowl.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess "the best friend of the HC with whom the QB is not particularly enamored" was not at the top of the list for a QB who doesn't really like to interpose himself into these situations anyway.

I want to distinguish a crazy hire from a bad one. A crazy hire is "the offensive line coach is the defensive coordinator now." A bad hire is "the long-time best friend of a coach who needs to be protected from his bad instincts on gameday by a layer of people smarter than him."

No, I don't think Ben Johnson made a ton of success as a hire from an external perspective.

Fans who rationally post about what the team deserves or doesn't deserve are largely illegible to me.

I don't care about merit. I want my team to win and when it's stolen from them, I do not care about the context.

That is "the game is fixed" level officiating on this drive.

He was in the pocket, no one was in the area, it didn't get to the line of scrimmage. It was amazing they had anything to discuss.

He's easily a Top 6ish QB right now. Just absolutely operating at an incredibly high level.

Ruling that not a catch is both wrong and immoral.

Nantz and Romo seem to be watching on tape delay, or maybe they have a bet to see who can produce the fewest complete sentences.

If you've only seen the Eagles in fits and starts and box scores, it's really unlikely that you are aware of what a significant leap Jalen Hurts has made. He is in absolute total control of the offense, he can put it anywhere at any time.

05.10.2025 18:02 β€” πŸ‘ 29    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 5    πŸ“Œ 0

Jalen Hurts doing that thing today where he runs out of bounds and loses the down and yards rather than throwing it away.

Fortunately they didn't just hire a former player as GM who spent a bunch of time building the team to its current status.

Sean Payton looks a lot like an action figure due to the incredible quantity of plastic in his face.

UNC attempted to order a Deion and instead they got served a literal Freddie Kitchens
