I wasn't quick enough to get a photo but I just saw a beige Cadillac BLS Wagon go past my window and I genuinely don't know the last time I saw a BLS of any kind.

Just like a real IMSA-suppprt MX-5 Cup race!

A very old, unpainted Morgan Aero 3-wheeler parked next to a Tesco ATM, possibly against the rules as it says ‘BUS LAYBY’ underneath it. Doubt this would make a great bus.

The Morgan’s rear bodywork (shaped around a rear-mounted spare wheel that isn't there) says SMAUG in red military-stencil font for some reason. The owner wasn't around to ask.

This old Aero is powered by a J.A.P V-twin engine mounted in front of the bodywork, because it was designed in an era when safety hadn't been invented yet.

The horn looks like a dragon’s head. A good match for the ‘Smaug’ nickname.

An Audi A8 L with the registration ‘BR14 NET’ re-spaced to read like it says ‘Brian E.T.’ instead. Coincidentally, Classic FM played the E.T. movie theme about 10 minutes before I saw this.

I spotted Brian the Extra Terrestrial earlier.

10/10 concept and a lovely spec, but I always think it looks like the rear quarter windows were put in upside down.
The Radford DB5 looks tidier to me.

I went to an Autism Awareness Day event put on by the local council. In one room was Brickies, a Lego-based social/wellness initiative for all ages, who had several (colour-coded👌) trays of random bricks on tables.
As soon as I saw a double-axle piece, I knew my mission. Quite happy with the result!

A silver Saab 9000 parked in a space between a fence and a big caravan, that's only just long enough for it.

Apparently it's not just Tokyo that features cars parked in the tightest spaces they'll fit.

Less egregious, but I remember seeing someone call a Porsche 997 a “modern classic” and only after beginning to get huffy about it did I realise it was over 15 years old (about 20 now!!)...

Very much enjoying that Gran Turismo has decided to be quirky again and add, of all things, a Unimog 411 with *many* customisation options.
Hilariously, adding the hay bales gives it 100 points of rear downforce!

Oh, I hadn't seen that news! That was WEC’s home on TV too (for better or worse) and shows a few other racing series. What a shame.

I saw this Yaris today and it struck me how noticeable it is that the number plate is mounted too low. How much it singularly makes the whole rear end look ‘wrong’.

A foot-tall white curly-haired dog looks through between green-ish fenceposts, sat under its owner’s perimeter hedge, hoping I could work out what it wants. Regrettably, despite a moment’s pause for thought, I did not. A little girl and her grandmother walked past me in the opposite direction shortly afterwards, so hopefully they said hello to it.

Dirty cat paw prints on the bonnet of my car. They were also visible on the windscreen and roof.

Small vertical-ish scratches on the side of my car. I did not cause these, leading me to hypothesise that the cat dropped off the side of my car and scratched it on the way down.

I particularly admire the huge bellhousing (not a euphemism) that joins the floor panels together so solidly, plus the illustrated sump and the inclusion of possible structural bars or mock suspension arms that are only visible when the car is turned over.

To distract myself from real life, I decided to actually build a model car kit I got for Xmas. The attention to detail is very impressive considering the medium (I think I avoided getting any splinters!) and it's impressively secure despite zero glue. It made me wonder how long it took to design.

I'm not the first to say it, but Honda’s 0 Saloon concept immediately took me back to 2003...

If I understand Alpine’s naming system then this is from the ’23 season. Slightly surprising to see such a recent part for sale, but I suppose it's a fairly innocuous panel from a design/secrecy point of view. Maybe a marshall picked it up 🤷
