Minor, random rant. If you are a company that allows people to schedule payments in the future, and someone has done so, stop sending the emails and plastering banners that indicate "PAYMENT IS DUE!" It's annoying and makes it seem like you can't keep anything straight, which is not a good look.

Nah, the vacuum pump is dead. Easy fix. Normally it would have just meant I had low power, but because I have a chip, it attempts to engage the secondaries, which trips a code because the pressure sensor is sad... which puts the car in limp mode.

Didn't quite make it to our destination today. Sad! But she sure looks good sitting there waiting for a tow truck.

Old man reflecting here (not really, only 47), but I can tell you that I regret not stretching for a car or two in my youth. It's doesn't get easier to justify! And they get more expensive in time, slipping from "maybe someday" to "never". I'm looking at you Countach, Dino, etc.

I think that's an important tip that many people forget when driving classic cars; many of them have not been maintained and they drive like it!

Put over 200 miles on the 308 yesterday, giving rides to a few students from Bolivia along the way. As always, it is was incredible driving experience that gets even better when sharing it!

I've never understood why anyone would tie anything personal to their work systems. It is insanity and it seems painfully obvious for so many reasons.

100%, you could build any kind of motor you want for it and not care. VW Type1 motors are amazing and there are infinite combinations of parts for them. I need another VW. Or Beck Speedster. Or something.

This is where I've ended up, as well. I used to think kit cars were horrible, and of course many of them are, but in some cases they make a lot of sense. I'll never afford a Speedster, and even if I did, I wouldn't take it out every weekend to enjoy it. But nice Speedster kit cars can be had.

Picked up the NSX today from my detailer. It'd been a few years since they'd seen it. It was still in good shape, so it got a light "clean up" polish and refreshed ceramic coating. A bit of PPF work, as well!

I really love my L322. Probably among the best all around vehicles that one could own.

My track car is a '98 Lexus SC400. Yeah, a weird choice, but it actually makes sense. Good suspension, great motor. Mine has a manual swap (R154), of course, custom valved Bilsteins, Supra Turbo brakes, a custom roll bar, and other goodies. It doesn't have a motor right now, though... long story.

First computer for the house was a TI 99/4a. We got it for Christmas. My dad had programmed, in assembler, a Christmas tree that twinkled and played a Christmas song.

The first computer that I actually owned was an IBM PC XT, a family machine replaced by a CompuAdd 386.
