I think there's a chance he turns into that just b/c he's a catcher, but you kind of have to take that risk. I don't really like the internal options unless we get full ABS by 2028 and I'm not aware of a big catching prospect in the 2026 draft. I'm not very creative, though.

I know nobody wants to pay for a catcher's age 32+ seasons, but I think that's the only way to make this work
