HMRC has just announced over 500 companies or individuals have been found out for tax avoidance. This could have funded so much in our crumbling society. I know Zac will be angry and quite rightly. How can this happen in the 1st place? The Green Party will fight tooth and nail to stop this.

Give it to them Zack. Another politician coming out with verbal diarrhoea. Itโ€™s ok that they can claim excessive expenses and therefore avoid taxes. I canโ€™t help being in a wheelchair because I canโ€™t walk yet these politicians can discriminate against me.

Ann Widdecombe has come out with absolute verbose diarrhoea all her political life. Many of her party have abused excessive expense claims and therefore avoided taxes as well.

We are lucky to have so many great leaders, MPโ€™s, councillors and supporters in our Green Party. Whatever happens over the leadership challenge we must come out of it as a united party. We have strong values, we are growing across the country. We are the hope of the future.

2024 I completed the biggest challenge of my life. I was 67 years young with a spinal cord injury pushing myself around London. It took me over 10 hours raising funds for the โ€˜Backup Trustโ€™. Those preparing for London 2025 enjoy your experience and โ€˜focus on your ability not your disabilityโ€™.

Even though Iโ€™m a die hard Wolves supporter, Villa did their fans, City and Country proud yesterday with a sitting on the edge of your chair performance. So well done, credit where credit is due. (Still remember when we beat them 2-0 in February at the Golden Palace๐Ÿ˜€).

I think you may need to let them read what they had in their manifesto as they seem to have forgotten what they promised.

As for the 97 lives tragically lost at Hillsborough, we must as a football family stay united together whatever teams we support.

I have banned anything from the US following Trumpโ€™s disgusting bullying of the Ukrainian president and the tariffs he has introduced on a number of countries especially the poorest. Also his disregard for climate change policy.

BREAKING: Public ownership of water companies would reduce bills by ยฃ3โ€“5bn a year.

A report by the University of Greenwich and @weownit.org.uk shows households would be ยฃ113 a year better off with nationalised water companies.

The Green Party wants to see water back into public hands

But then comes the โ€˜kick you whilst youโ€™re downโ€™. The affordable housing then becomes unaffordable due to the increases in prices as companies have to pay for the extra national insurance costs. Talking about living in cuckoo land. Please go, preferably now.

It is further proof that the Starmer Tory government just donโ€™t know what they are doing. All this will mean is more anxiety for those who are long term disabled. DWP have already outsourced the PIP process which has been nothing but disastrous. Why will they keep avoiding taxing the filthy rich.

18.03.2025 15:06 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Starmer is totally useless. Heโ€™s clearly a Trump and Putin supporter. The trouble is that if we had a general election tomorrow itโ€™s likely Farage and Reform will take over the running of our country. Heโ€™s no different from Starmer. What a mess and our Ukrainian friends we must support you.

28.02.2025 22:41 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I totally agree. I hear the horror stories from my friends in Kyiv who every night can hear the drones. I just cannot apprehend what their life is like. When they stayed with me they were always my guest and not refugees. Hopefully one day there is peace and I can visit them in their country.

I think what Rachel Reeves meant was she would be the 1st Minister to wear a green dress. As a government minister she just doesnโ€™t have a clue. Sheโ€™s certainly up there with the worst politicians. We need affordable and accessible housing and we need it now. Donโ€™t ruin our planet please.

04.02.2025 15:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Really. So you think the country should be lead by yet another clown? We may as well become another state of the US and have Trump. Reform is the last party on earth I would vote for.

Look at Labourโ€™s acts of environmental vandalism and ask: did I vote for this? | George Monbiot Our rivers, our wildlife, the air we breathe: the government is sacrificing all to the insatiable god of GDP โ€“ and mocking our objections, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

"An alternative would be to build hospitals now. As they are huge employers and help people return to work, they would appear more likely than airports to generate growth, as well as meeting our urgent needs".

I used to vote Conservative until I realised how they let the country down. When I used to go to the local polling station there was always a Green Party representative standing outside. No other party to be seen. So I started to vote Green became a member as their policies are my policies.

Our leaders are sleepwalking towards a deadly future by burying their heads in the sand when it comes to the climate crisis.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

We could transition away from fossil fuels and make our communities more resilient. All it takes is political will.

According to the police, itโ€™s not their responsibility for vehicles parking on double yellow lines and the pavement but the council enforcement officers. According to the council itโ€™s the responsibility of the police. How inconsiderate is this for parking. Culprit, hang your head in shame.

Congratulations in managing to listen to Starmer for a full minute. Labour left the Tories with financial problems in 2010, Tories left Labour in Financial problems in 2014. They then miss the opportunity to make a change, what a mess they are making already. Cutting winter fuel is immoral.
