I was there after a faith vigil for all the people who have been killed by ICE the day before Alex Pretti was executed and I watched an ICE agent hit a protester with their SUV and drive off.

Tomorrow, on Friday, Jan 30, high school students from around the region are walking out of class starting at 10:30am, heading to the west steps of the Capitol, and then marching to the John Moss Federal building at 650 Capitol Mall where ICE has been abuducting people.

Don’t be too alarmed. The one truth about fascists is that they are cowards. When they see all of us out on the streets, they will stay home collecting our tax dollars and plotting how they’re going to brutalize more of our neighbors tomorrow. These actions are heartbeats. Not ends. Keep going.

Turning life into a casino is infinite disasters that are already happening. Every time I open social media, I get an ad for Kalshi asking me to waste money betting on nonsense. This is terrible for everyone. Gambling is not an asset class.

Today, I’ll be protesting the ICE recruiting event that Kevin Kiley, Roger Nielo, and Rosario Rodriguez are hosting at Jessup University.

The secret police should not be allowed to recruit in California and definitely not at a Christian school.
