After Bananza I couldn't shake the DK love, so I went and replayed one of my favorite games of all time. Still my favorite DK game, not only for nostalgia's sake (though it means a LOT to me), but cuz it's a fun, well-made, short romp.

Yeah, in the end he didn't really do anything actually wrong. Maybe at best a little sketchy but nothing illegal and he did his due diligence to make sure everybody was of legal age and had receipts for it, but fake IDs are a bitch

As to the holly conrad stuff, it mostly was bad for Ross.

I can confirm that while powerade zero's mountain berry flavor is genuinely great

the fruit punch is not. it's better than gatorade zero fruit punch, but neither is that pleasant. Powerade zero's is medicinal, gatorade zero's tastes like pine needles

I'm a big DK fan and I did really enjoy Bananza, but if you ask me if I want Odyssey 2 or Bananza I'm saying Odyssey 2 tbh

Ah, I see. in terms of pokemon spinoffs it sold well, with Pinball only being outsold in terms of spinoffs by one Stadium game. in terms of pokemon as a franchise it sold poorly, at least as of 2022

so not poorly, just not what a series like this should, though that is true for all its spinoffs
