Multiple courts have already ruled that several recent domestic military deployments exceeded lawful authority. That matters. It’s a reminder that the Constitution, not any individual , sets the limits on military activity inside the United States.

If this is a “clean CR” as they claim - that should mean that the money Trump has said he won’t spend has to be in the bill. It would have to go back to the actual language from a year ago with the spending levels and priorities.

The President is sending in National Guard without a request saying he is protecting ICE buildings. If Gov activates, which is normal, it removes the argument by WH. City police are protecting protesters when possible. ICE is making an excuse for their aggressive behavior.

I think Governors should activate the national guard in their state to protect the protestors. Flip the script on Miller and Homan. Set the parameters for their guards. Oregon Nat’l Guard leadership suggested it
