- chances are most of them would never be into games in general. They happened to like ONE game
- some of them may explore more stuff growing up
- the industry's obsession for targeting kids is dated. Older demos are more reliable. But feel free to keep chasing "the next Roblox/Fortnite"

I'd go for the colloquial spelling vaffan or vafan. Sounds more natural and has the extra advantage of sounding a bit like vaffanculo. Two birds, one stone.

As a Sicilian this kind of stuff is more uncomfortable than I thought. Playing a mafioso and extorting or beating people cause "the family must be paid" to me is as appealing as playing a Gestapo cop looking for socialists or something like that. I can play GTA but this feels a bit disgusting.

I feel like there's a thing I call "the Balatro fallacy" in games. Marketing gurus would look at Balatro, before success, and say: "impossible to sell, in a dead genre, it doesn't look good in gifs, hard to describe, messy graphics". After success: "of course it got viral! The concept sells itself"

In the game I am making you can use glue to attach any two objects. Which is great for all sorts of emergent weird solutions, but I am a simple person: I like watching floppy bridges flop.

But yes, Mosa Lina is absolutely an inspiration. My thought when I played it was "this should be a new genre". And I think TNU is different enough to justify its own existence.
