I hate the GOP and their white supremacy. That is the only reason to hurt so many people. Immigrants are people.

I am worried that even as we see the weaponization of government against Trump's political opponents, too few have stepped forward to object. I worry that as a result, we will see an escalation of political retribution that will be met with what MLK called "the appalling silence of the good people."

The racism runs deep in the GOP to be sure but I firmly believe their aim is to break to current laws so completely as to bring back slavery.
