And after a while of the algorithm gave up and my home screen on YouTube both browser and app, is just a blank screen with a search bar. Very clean.
feedscrolling is 100 percent gambling addition. It's a slot machine who pays jackpots of brain chemicals - humor, rage, confusion, etc.
I turned off autoplay and my watch history and YouTube got A LOT less algorithm-y. Videos don't start playing as I'm scrolling, messing up my recommendations because I paused in wtf over some diWHY craft video.

Related: I separate clothes by fabric weight, not color. I still expect clothes to live and die by machine wash at home. Dry clean should only be for wedding attire and stuff.
I keep finding that humid summer and dry cold winter breaks my little caveman brain where Hot equals dry, cold equals wet. Thankfully Mediterranean climates are just that, hot (H O T) dry summers and cool damp winters.

I remember a huge argument between my brother and my dad "okay, EXPLAIN TO ME the concept of SAVE POINTS!!" and then even after that he was acting like my brother should have still somehow had the ability to change where save points were and how they worked.

Digital art, 2024, clip studio paint Starfleet officer hangs from a cliff while a shipmate runs to rescue. Main shading medium used was the mechanical pencil tool, due to familiarity.
Every few years I try to draw a benchmark of where my skill is. Since I just got a new drawing tablet, I figure it's a good time to do so.
I like to think a Starfleet officer is skilled enough that dropping his tricorder off a cliff is more of a headache than hanging on by his fingertips.
