I was feeling creative last night, so I made a thing.

President Zelensky has shown exemplary courage and leadership in resisting Putin’s barbarous invasion. Ukraine deserves our support! It is unconscionable that the US has stopped sharing our intelligence about Russian activities there.

Every accusation is an intention.

Zelensky should now tell Trump: "After that undignified stunt today, you will get precious metals *only* if and when we are given enough weapons to defeat your boss at the Kremlin."

LEFT: Started his career as a clown.

RIGHT: Ended his career as one.

Any psychologist or psychiatrist (or former abused spouse) will tell you that President Zelensky gave a master class today on how to deal with a malignant narcissist.

He is an amazing man. We can all learn from him.

Not the spiteful, debased anger manufactured by the performative, manipulative, and deranged demagogues who encourage people to hate others for who they are.

But rather: the righteous indignation of those who value right over wrong, and seek truth over lies.

Anger. Righteous anger. We need more of it in this country.

Donald Trump has disgraced the United States of America in countless ways since he first entered political life ten years ago.

But he had never disgraced the nation as badly as he did today.

He has brought shame on this country to an extent I had never thought possible. And he has only just begun.

And to think we could have had a sane, serious government run by an intelligent person who would have acted in the best interests of Americans, and not Vladimir Putin.

I don’t know how to answer this, except to say thank you for doing all you do and communicating it to all of us so well. You are an inspiration.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

I didn't think I was capable of feeling any more shame for what America has become.

I was wrong.

JD Vance going at Zelensky over never saying thank you had a major abusive partner in a dysfunctional relationship vibe.

I bet he's had practice.

When their domestic politics is based solely on being assholes to half the country, we shouldn't be surprised that this intentionally inflammatory approach spills over into their foreign diplomacy. These are neither serious nor nice people.

Trump is an absolute embarrassment.

They are setting fire to Reagan's "City Upon A Hill."

Turns out Zelenskyy is good at standing up against dictators.

The problem with people like Donald Trump, JD Vance, and Elon Musk, is they lack the self-awareness and familiarity with decency to be ashamed after shockingly inappropriate or rude behavior.
