Ooof, that’s the truth right there. When I was in retail, there was always this particular subset of older men that would make a mean spirited joke or fake-out and then laugh it off and expect you to laugh too like it was nothing. I still cringe about it.

Anyone have any tips for doing more complicated paint by numbers projects ? It seems obvious that you just follow along with whatever instructions but I’d like them to turn out nice and I haven’t tried them before. Will be my vacation activity!

Someday I will have the throwaway money to buy a bunch of salmon belly strips. Will try cooking them in butter and then either quick broil or air fryer them for crispy skin. Salmon belly, so good 👌

10 servings of garlic butter salmon and rice/cauliflower medley in containers and on plates cooling.

There you have it, 10 servings for current and future me to enjoy. The only hard part is cutting the salmon evenly, it changes shape and thickness throughout. I don’t worry too much about it though, I’m not a chef in a restaurant 😆.

May try that myself with air fryer at home! I work alone so no one to bother me about it 😆

Yes! If you have the freezer space, it’s so much more economical to cook this way when possible. Not everything freezes well but a lot does surprisingly ok.

Yep! It freezes decently. I know people say not to microwave fish or whatever but if you use the right microwave settings and you can even let it thaw first in fridge & then just reheat from thawed, it’s fine. I just can’t take the time to cook a portion at a time, too much work & I love salmon.

Compared to like $30 for maybe two servings at a restaurant from one meal, a good tradeoff.
