I will say... I love remote work (and have been mostly remote for... a decade at this point), but I do miss when the Economy (and state of the world) meant that I could see my coworkers more often than once-twice a year.

I’m conflicted bc I don’t wanna turn my hobby into “work”, but also I live in an apartment I don’t have enough space or local friends to give everything I make to 😂

I think I’m getting to a point where I can make glass that I could nominally sell semi consistently which means I’m kinda tempted to start trying to go to markets? But that’s also terrifying as a thought?

They do have an overlap with mine, but if I'm ever writing my own data structures it's probably for a very niche reason, and knowing that I can reverse a linked list / implement a rope isn't gonna help you learn that I can do that.

tbf i have... another decade+ on that and would probably kinda suck at that kinda stuff on the spot.
