Every year there’s some discourse around how safe/unsafe it is to scan QR codes at BlackHat and DefCon.
Last year, I set out to enumerate the scope, and did!

for camera scanning you generally will want a decent macro lens, a stand to keep your camera pointed down, a light box, and a film holder. then you just take photos of the film frames, and pull them in to something like NegativeLab Pro to do the proper color inversions (or do it manually, hard)

do you have a removable lens digital camera? because camera scanning has been far and away the best method IME
