I sat next to a guy on a long flight who has a job that is completely devoted to rolling out AI in a large business, I told him that outside very specific machine learning applications I was skeptical that general AI would be useful soon… he ruefully agreed, said it made things up too often.

I only read The Double Helix last year, it was atrocious how he mocked her in the main text, and then he had the gall to try to walk it back in an afterword. I followed it up with reading a good biography of Franklin. My impression is that Watson and Crick did contribute to figuring it out, but…

A friend of mine moved to the Bay Area decades ago, last I talked to him he is still flaunting his Baton Rouge accent. My Virginia accent comes and goes, especially when I visit, but my sister in Richmond says "Accent? What accent?" as sweet as can be... One affectation is I use "y'all" regularly...

I have my doubts about steps 5 and 6, unless the tunic has a lot of width at the bottom I don't see how it would be wide enough to wrap around the front and get tied off... but still a fun panel!
