After 3 years of hard&fun work "Halls of Torment" will be released on XBOX and PS5 today. Creating the prerendered 2D oldschool look was certainly something different but it was a lot of fun to 'put' the the retro vibe into every single pixel. #godotengine #blender3d

The 'Halls of Torment' outro cinematic. I was responsible for shading, lighting, rendering and compositing of the scenes and I tried to emulate the old 90's video game cinematic aesthetics like dithering, oldschool lensflares and saturated colors. Hope you like it! #blender3d

Ten years ago I started to work on a private game prototype but never finished due to lack of time . The main idea was a black&white horror multiplayer game with two players cooperatively roaming "The House", solving puzzles, communicate but never meet each other ingame. #gamedev #unrealengine

'Halls of Torment' was nominated for 'Best Mobile Game' at the D.I.C.E. awards. Altough we didn't win it feels great and strange at the same time to see our little game at this convention in LasVegas, while still working on the game in my attic office room in a small village in germany. #Godot
