...like it seems like Minneapolis was chosen for this ICE ramp-up because it's in a blue state. But borders are porous.

Because Minneapolis is close enough to the Wisconsin border that people commute in, I'm wondering to what extent local anti-ice polarization is bleeding from blue Minnesota into swing-state Wisconsin (and swing district WI-03 more specifically)

Actually weird in retrospect how my high school's football team got full equipment (maybe not cleats?) provided by the school; the hockey team just got a helmet.

Every battleground currently being fought in the US—immigration, science, climate, economy, you name it—boils down to reductive thinkers versus systems thinkers. One of the complex systems that support how we live *will* collapse as these guys keep ripping out the wires. Better hope it’s not food.
