Not judging it at all - just interesting bc gender fluidity is so profoundly human. Like we use this crazy collage of stuff (culture, biology, and more) to make our gender, which is cool af! But we make our monsters nonbinary before our human characters (not all the time).

Currently in dev for a book with a genderfluid character and thinking about how frequently we see genderfluid folks in "weird" romance (PNR, SFR, monster), how often the "other" in the dynamic is the genderfluid one, and what that means.
