I hate character deaths except for antagonist. I'll use death in back stories but that's about it. I just feel like any character comes with so much potential and all the potential goes with them if you kill them. I might kill a character someday, but I want it to mean something when I do.

April finds one of her missing girlfriend's old notebooks. She can't remember her because of magic memory stealing, but she's been trying to regain her missing memories.

April is there for the thrill rides. She's an adrenaline junky. She'd also try way to hard to win her girlfriend a giant bear at one of the carnival games.

Hell yeah. 😁 I recently went down a rabbit researching Inuit mythology for a future book I'm considering setting in Alaska.

Some of the mythology I use is just cuz it's my special interest and it's to nerdy for even nerds. Writing is the only way I can talk about it. Like I have Clay go through a real labyrinth just so I could talk about what labyrinth were originally used for.

That would probably depend a little on the AU, but they would still be based off the people in her life.

April will always be a stubborn, strong willed lesbian who's not so secretly a daddy's girl. I also think one way or another, she'll always have tattoos.

They keep any of the real dangerous stuff away from where the public can see it, so things typically run smoothly. Incidents can still happen like any place so a lot of employees double as supernatural protectors. April is one of those people.

It's complicated, as most things are with fay. She definitely can be intentionally cruel and we see that with how she talks to people she sees as beneath her. It's when she's intrigued by someone that it's hard to tell her motives are.

Alice is whatever she needs to be at the time. She's a fay who doesn't always have rhyme or reason to what she does. She starts really sweet with April but slowly changes to something more cruel, just trying to pull at any string to get under her skin. Then she's back to trying to be a friend.

I have an idea for a mystery but I don't think I'm smart enough to pull one off. A good mystery need to be difficult to figure out but also fair. Finding the right balance of enough clues to be possible to solve and not too many to make it obvious is above what I can do.

Yeah. This was one of the stories I started to make as a cope during the pandemic when I was starting to figure out I liked woman and before I realized I was a man. It feels right to set it during that time as a last bit of processing all the shit from that year.

April's story covers about half a year to a year. It's actually during 2020 so we see her right before and during the pandemic before she goes into the fay wild for a bit. I'm also probably gonna do a couple year time skip epilogue showing her getting married cuz I think it'd be sweet.

April will listen if someone she respects gives her advice. It's a gamble if she'll take it. She's very stubborn. The problem is, her stubbornness normally ends well for her so it only reinforces it.

April is lesbian. This is very important for the plot and theming. Her girlfriend is a cryptid that could become human if she can marry a human man but she falls for a woman instead. She thinks she's failed but April keeps fighting for them because WLW relationships are just as valid as any other.

The museum April works at is hosting a psychic show. April gets dragged in, and the psychic tells her that she's being haunted by a woman she can't remember.

April loves art. She's covered in tattoos for a reason, but she doesn't consider herself an artist. She does creative talents with her marketing though. She knows how to do eye catching editing for webpages, adds, and videos. I'd also say she's creative with her coffee blends.

April can be petty. Any unpoped or burnt peace of popcorn is gonna be used as target practice and the target is there head. Once the person looks back, they're getting glared down by a five foot nothing ball of anger.
