I hope they explained to the Toronto fans that cancer charities are what the United States has in lieu of a functional healthcare system

The guns are the problem. Whether it’s high school students or Charlie Kirk or anyone else getting shot, this country has to crack down on guns and pass actual gun control laws to protect everyone’s safety.

Hey man, any fan can care about any thing. I'm only giving you the opinion of this fan.

I beleive in level playing fields. If someone else doesn't, they may be against a salary cap. People can be for or against whatever they want.

But it's complete rubbish that it hurts players and helps owners.

I never said anything about "parity". If everyone operates under the same framework and one or a few teams are able to achieve sustained success because they assembled a better roster/coaching staff/front office, then that's wonderful. I have no issue with dynasties. I only have issue with imbalance

The NFL and the NHL got it figured out long ago.

Lol that's like saying two sprinters are racing under the same set of rules, one just starts the race five yards further up the track than the other. You're unserious.

It doesn't depress players' pay. Players get a percentage of overall revenue. That percentage can be negotiated.

Yes, a salary floor, which should/would absolutely be a part of any salary cap just as it is in the NFL and NHL.

It distrubutes a percentage of overall revenue to players. What percentage that would be is a matter of negotiation. It also puts every team under the same set of rules, which is an even more very important distinction.

Nobody "feels sorry" for owners, and no one wants a salary cap to keep salaries down and save money for owners. A cap just distributes the same money to the same players, only more evenly. It's the best system by far, taking how rich each owner is (or how rich they wish to be) out of the equation.

I still can't believe this is a real clip of trial testimony in an actual court room.

Tuberville says β€˜inner city rats’ live off the American taxpayers: Trump should send them β€˜back home’ "These inner city rats, they live on the federal government," Tuberville said in the interview.

In Tommy Tuberville's home state of Alabama, 23% of all personal income comes from transfer payments from the federal government.

Alabama is the tenth most dependent on federal funding, getting $1.80 in spending back for every $1 its citizens pay in taxes.

if you want to know why Musk/Trump's shit is instantly toxic abroad but popular at home, it's because abroad they don't have a cheerleading pro-Trump media and a backstop of corrupt judges to clean up after every stupid decision. Instead it just looks stupid and cruel.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1,000 a month. A year later, nearly half of participants said they had housing. Participants in Denver's basic-income program reported having more-secure housing, though results were similar in the trial and control groups.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.
