Agree, but first you have to be elected to govern. Strangely, with New Zealand voters 'tax' seems to be a dirty word. They want the govt. to provide all the services, but no one wants to pay tax. The contradiction is mind-boggling! So the political left has to tread gently, small steps forward!

TRICKLE DOWN: The trickle-down economy is like a leaking tap—all down the drain. Put another way, the rich get richer, and all profits are sent abroad. NZ doesn't own much anymore, as most major brands have been flogged off for quick profit.
