I really, really hope this vote is followed by AOC announcing her run for Schumer's Senate seat.

The Senate is full of cowards who just sold out their own voters.

What a sad day.

If you do this, you will have wasted any leverage you had, wasted the pain people have gone through in this shut down, and shown the Republicans that they can simply wait you out. You are selling people out for a vote that won't win. If you do this, you deserve to be primaried in your next election.

Pay attention to what Democratic candidates are saying right now. Find and support the fighters. Having a spine must be a litmus test issue in 2026 and beyond.

This feels like after months of doing nothing, after FINALLY fighting back AND SEEING RESULTS, it's like this was a big joke to pull the rug out from us. The Party of Nothing.

Trump has had some blatant "everyone suck up to me" press conferences before, but this one right now feels very scary. Flat out villifying anyone who opposes him and strongly suggesting they are going after anyone who disagrees with them.

I love doing Halloween stuff, but if I'm being honest, I kinda want to keep working on the garage. It's closer to being done than not, and when it's done I plan on setting up a puppet making workshop in there. Halloween is a little inconvenient at the moment but... also tradition.

With me cleaning out the garage for the first time in twenty years, and October starting in the middle of the week, I've gotten a really late start on decorations. It always takes me about two days to set up everything. It's almost midnight & I finally stopped, but there's so much left. O_O
