He even did it by executive order, then went all the way to the Supreme Court defending it. Imagine if Dems had fought that hard for higher wages instead of student loan forgiveness.

I really wish Dems had made increasing the minimum wage a higher priority than forgiving student loans.

It is hard to eke out a living in the service industry and it's only getting harder. In Texas and nine other states we don't even have the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. Why did the minimum wage and Medicaid expansion drop down the list of Democratic priorities?

Is it any wonder that they were able to paint Democrats as out-of-touch elitists when Biden was showering college grads with free money while Trump was campaigning on not taxing tips and overtime?

It drives me crazy that Biden forgave a bunch of student loans for college grads but the minimum wage hasn't been raised since 2009.

You know, in the Holocaust, German soldiers did an awful lot of lining up all the defenseless Jewish men, women and children in a town and shooting them all in the head. When did Israel ever do such a thing?

I'd really much rather have a big window that I can look out of by my dining table, not behind the TV. And I'm pretty sure I'd rather have the entrance to my house in the dining room than the living room.

The only reason we ever arranged it this way in the first place is because that's how they staged it when the house was for sale, and because the cable TV outlet is at the front of the room, not the back. But we don't have cable TV anymore; everything is wireless now. TVs can be anywhere now!

1. The L-shaped couch will fit better going that direction.
2. The TV won't be blocking a window anymore.
3. The front door won't open into the living room anymore, which I hope will make it feel more cozy.

I really want to rearrange my big, rectangular living/dining room so the living and dining areas are swapped, but it's going to be a lot of work. I can't even move the TV alone. But I have drawn a plan on graph paper, and I really think the room will work better that way. Just daydreaming about it.

When I got home from work today, my AC wouldn't work, and my husband called a guy he knows from work and the guy came by and fixed it easily and I am so grateful that it was an easy fix. 🥹

Also I did this and I'm glad about it, too!

I'm so glad I learned to make popcorn like this and save the leftovers in a gallon baggy and have popcorn on hand for when Texas unexpectedly kicked Oklahoma's ass yesterday!! 🤘
