My brain decided to unlock this toy from my memory bank today. These were the original fidget toy for me! #80s #nostalgia

Just back from seeing Bring Her Back. So impressed! Tense, gory and at times really moving. One of my favourites of the year so far.

I'll have to check that one out. My brother and I had a series of early reader books by him with titles like bad bear, silly sheep, poorly pig etc. I'd love to track them all down again, I've only got one of them left. They were brilliant!

Extremely sad to see the news about Allan Ahlberg’s death. Peepo, Each Peach, Jolly Postman are getting lots of love but my favourites will always be The Baby Catalogue and Starting School. Diverse, loving families, before that was really a children’s book priority.

RIP Allan Ahlberg. He wrote some of my favourite children's books, and I enjoyed sharing them with my kids.

Day with my oldest, and now a night out with my son and friends for Wednesday 13. It's been a decent day.

Oh yes! Their chant was "give me a D, give me an arkest! 😄

I can now say I've been to one of those tribute festivals. Tapped out before the end (sorry Knotslip!) but was a really fun day out. Robbed Zombie was the highlight, with an honourable mention to Machine rages on.

I've never had much success with aubergine, but my brother has mastered the art of prepping them without turning them slimy or oily, so I know it can be done! Maybe it's time to try again.
