Simply glorious conditions on Sgòr Gaoith in the Cairngorms today. A favourite hill, but seldom more beautiful than this. Hope you had time to get out and enjoy the conditions, wherever you went - whether up high, down in the glens, out on the coast or deep in the woods.

The MacCaskill Arms was a fictional pub for the film and the private house at the end of the village was used for the exterior.
The interior shots of the pub were, I believe, filmed in the ship inn in Banff. However that is no longer a bar now😔

The red phone box is still there but has been moved to a location just opposite the Pennan Inn
