Repeat after me: generative AI does not and cannot ever represent disabled people. A great article by @ashleemboyer.com, who explains why solutions who pretend to do that are dehumanizing the lived experiences of disabled people by replacing authentic stories with synthetic, generative AI outputs.

Agree - we see this in banking. You’d be horrified (but not surprised) at the number of people who will regularly transfer a few cents to an ex’s account, so they can abuse them via the transaction description .

Congrats & best luck! Also, don’t underestimate the sensory overload of being around lots of people all day. Get some short quiet breaks in, if you can.
