Went out walking today to destress and came across some Amanita Aprica. Like Muscaria or the destroying angel, these guys are super toxic but are orange instead of red or white. They have a cousin called Persinica but that one is psychoactive unlike these ones.

The only reason I'm trying to not make this a bigger deal is cause I happen to work at a place with a ton of other ppl who are Mexican that don't speak perfect English, and maybe that's where it's coming from so whatever but like at least give me a second before automatically assuming yk.

I greeted the dude with "Howdy, I dont think I ever got ur name, how are ya." DOES THAT SOUND LIKE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH???? UGH 😫!!!

I went to greet one of the new hires today and the first thing out of this dudes mouth was "hi, are you ELS"

$1,000,000,000 spent on just hiring ghouls to seize and cage people.
I don't want to repeat the same point but that's just so stupid. I've never seen a trillion anything in my life. There's not even a trillion stars in the night sky.

Just so we're clear then,
Soldiers (who I don't really care for tbh) aren't getting paid
Snaps not getting paid
Airports aren't getting paid
Anyone with a gov job isn't getting paid
But 1 trillionish (1 followed by 9 zeros) dollars was spent on just hiring ICE agents. And they're still getting more

So, out of curiosity, I decided to crunch numbers to see how much money has initially been spent on ICE. given they're doing the whole $50k sign on bonus and currently there's some 20K~ agents, only with the bonus those guys have been paid collectively $1t~ not including the normal paychecks too.
