It was a very insightful talk for both cultures to co-exist side by side and we look forward to Director Uesagi Tetsuya-san's documentary film called Northern Food Story showing in GSC Cinema from 10th September to 17th September to 19th October 2025

There are so much to learn as every director and production have different ways to showcase their creativity, as the talk mostly consist students attending to the talk; the questions is a good stepping stone for those that would like to get into advertisement or film making

The differences for both Malaysian and Japanese production was larger in contrast as Malaysia production priotize on pre-production, budget and more while Japanese production was more focused on having work connection, long term relationship with individuals to create meaningful work together

While Uesugi Tetsuya, a director who came from advertisement background and now doing documentary films shed some light on Japanese production

Lily Samsuddin, a director and producer gave sound advice on how Malaysian production takes on advertisement through music

M.Shaffuan sharing his perspective on what it's like being a content creator and a solo film maker from starting scratch.

Film making in Commercials don't have to be intimidating to join,
Getting to know everyone in the production, whether they're the gaffer, the producer, assistant director or camera crew; it's important to know each person as team working is important in any starting production.
