I often write at the library, and all day the librarians are explaining technology to boomers. Just now this guy thought that he wouldn't get his birth certificate back, because it had been sent over email. He genuinely believed the scanner sucked it up and digitised it, like in Tron.

My English-language spam is like, "Hello Dear, You have inherited $365,829,396.00". My Spanish-language spam is all, "You have been chosen to receive a set of drill bits!" or "You have won a ham!" It's so much more plausible. (I also get Finnish spam but alas I can't read it.)
