Thanks to the RASA 8's wide field of view, Celestron employee Chris H. (@hendrenimaging) captured the Ghost of Cassiopeia Nebula—which spans 10 light-years!—all in the same field. The Ghost of Cassiopeia contains both emission and reflection nebulae, IC 59 and IC 63.

🐘✨ Behold #vdB142, famously known as the #Elephant’sTrunkNebula! Nestled within #Cepheus, it’s part of the larger #IC1396 #emissionnebula, which spans 100 light-years and lies 2,400 light-years away.
