feel like i am usually most interested when its a mixture of texture resolutions, like its trying to draw attention to itself that this is not a cohesive window into another world

id like game devs to keep moving more away from pixelated/aliased visuals. theres an insecurity to hiding behind all-rough edges needlessly. cousin of those airbrush paintings. is difficult cos the texture itself has unique qualities & something to say but has been the face of anachronism 4 a while
