Vital context - a couple of years ago go a wrote a personal project cosmic horror podcast called Museum of the Missing, because I was miserable and on the verge of giving up writing for good. Just as I finished it, I got two book deals, so Season 2 was put on hold. Now those two books are done and dusted (the second one is out next month), I’m back out on sub and therefore between projects (plus the world is burning), I’m bringing my weird little passion project back. It’s going to be loosely based on a novella I wrote nearly 15 yrs ago (Black Smokers - long story short I got fucked over by a publisher, but it’s long out of contract, that publisher doesn’t even exist any more and I’m totally rewriting the sections I do use/just using ideas and concepts/totally changing the format of it, so my agent says it should be fine rights-wise - I’ve already used part of it in one of the episodes in season 1), which will help me come to terms with that part of my publishing history, too. So yay! Exciting!

Ah, balls to it. Life’s too short and depressing not to do whatever the hell you want with it, so I’m doing this again:
