My point is that the people they had working there already were happy to make a persons life difficult with very little evidence . Can only imagine how they abuse people now . I was in uniform with a working visa . Going in 3-4 x a month ! ! Even worse on holiday 😢

I travelled to the states for 35yrs+ as cabin crew ,having a common name was stopped a good 80% of the time and taken away .
I eventually found out that they were looking for Ian Gordon Smith b. 7 th May 1975 . An Australian

They have a mandate and huge lead in parliament. I say give them a chance. They are not as unpopular as the right wing press make out. Still better than truss Johnson

Of course some are in poverty through no fault of their own , some are in poverty because of bad decisions they took .
They can claim extra benefits .
As for net zero how many lives will that be saving ?
There are lots of ways a government can raise funds . Labour won the election .

All pensioners get it .25% are millionaires . I personally don’t know one pensioner who struggles. I’m working class pensioner and have a huge family 168 1st cousins . All pensioners and all working class. Worked all their lives.
None struggle .

There has to be a cut off somewhere and if we had a decent pension we wouldn’t have this problem
