I love what #SciPost does & their narrative.
Much agrees w/ Unjournal.org practices.
Some differences (Us/Them)
1. Quant. ratings vs accept/reject
2. Publish all evaluations vs. only if βacceptedβ
3. Fields & applied focus
4. We pay evaluators
5. We donβt 'publish' papers, just evaluations

Pose: By now you should know which one is Pop by the process of elimination. But in case you missed one of the other two, think of how he poses: as ifin a parade. And a 'pose' is like a role (of a drum core leader). Also "Pop" starts with the same letter as "Parade". So Pop is the parade hat guy.

Clothes: That reminds you what the clue is for Crackle. He wears a piece of clothing known as a cap (and a cap is the same first letter as Crackle, by the way, so there's another clue.)

It doesn't tell you directly which one is Snap, Crackle or Pop, but it gives you the _clues you need_.
Sound: Think of the "snapping" sound, and picture a chef snapping his fingers when a dish is ready. Snap is the chef!

This is NOT a done deal. @thelancet.com's study assumes USAID is cut to 0.
Congress clawed back 9.4 billion; ~50 billion remains that the State Dept. must obligate to line-items Congress specified, such as #PEPFAR.
We should _fight_ for this, not let people die to use as a talking point.
