It would be a satire on the state of shitty AI games flooding the market.

I just had the worst idea for a shitpost #TTRPG.

I won't do it because the risk of the joke not being understood is TOO high and potentially career ending.

It would be called "Another Shitty AI TTRPG" and the idea is you write a game like you're using LLMs. Except, ironically, no AI is used.

All of my clothes looked like cicada shells, made for somebody else.

I'll be less silly to make a clear answer:

Say you may $10 an hour. You'd make $15 dollars with overtime. The difference between your regular pay and overtime is $5. You'd then multiple that by all the overtime you did this year. That's your deduction.

I feel the need to mention it bothered clarifying that state laws, unions and etc. can get you over 1.5% when it makes it clear that "lol, no, only what they were legally required to pay: we still tax the rest."

It's actually even more restrictive, but I ran out of characters. And, it only applies to income tax so you are still getting your regular employment taxes on it.

And FLSA is also not 40 uniform, so firefighters need 52. And CA law making OT over 8 hrs doesn't count.

I could go on.

Having done taxes for a loved one recently, I learned "No Tax on Overtime" meant "No tax on the % of pay you received over your regular pay...um, but only 1.5% because that's all FLSA says...and holiday pay doesn't count...and you have to be covered by FLSA so 40hrs minimum regardless of local law."

It's got to be a non-5e exclusive podcast. Like System Mastery or something. I also used to use the old Something Awful Trad Games discord Fuego ran, but one of the peeps there actively bullied me so I left. You need people who buy in on non-5e.

That sucks ass.

My advice is that I usually just hang out in places with people cool to play games, like a discord of a trpg podcast. And I'll just post a LFG there.

The people there I already know are cool, they already like TRPGs, and only people interested apply.

This is striking me as peeps who only ever played D&D and tried to run this game like it was D&D.

My guess? DM only wanted the mechanics and wasn't interested in the setting. Happens all the time. But, it can be really noticeable in games with cool settings.
