Same thing happened to my mum in her mid fifties, thanks to the surgeons, she got through it and recovered pretty quickly. Still living a full life at 82!

That was the 1st time I saw The Smiths. I was aware of them through hearing their Peel session and him playing Hand in Glove. Became a big fan very soon after that gig!

What they were doing on that bill I do not know! Were they using angle grinders? I remember sparks flying!

I was there, too. Only time I've ever been to Reading. Great line up. Rained alot. The dye from my cheap black baseball cap started running and I had black streaks all down my face. New Order were brilliant, and I'm not a fan.
