It's time for policymakers to heed their demands.

The divides we see today are no accident. Since 1989, the top 1% grabbed at least 987x more wealth per household than B20.

Policymakers have prioritized the wealthy over ordinary people. We get into Reagan on labor, Clinton's welfare reforms, Bush's tax cuts for the rich & more.

Unfortunately (unless you're a billionaire) the very rich do keep getting richer.

📈The richest 0.1%'s share of assets (12.6%) & the stock market (24%) are now higher than any time in modern history.

Such extreme wealth-->outsized power, corroding democracy.

Meanwhile:
🔹US homelessness is at record highs
🔹Over 40% of the country (and ~1 in every 2 kids) is considered poor or low-income
🔹Many millions of families are set to lose health insurance and access to food assistance, thanks to the largest wealth transfer upwards in decades
