In Minnesota, drivers are required to stop for pedestrians at BOTH marked and unmarked crosswalks. Here I am at one of my least favorite streets, 50th, at one of my least favorite intersections, 50th and Aldrich. Let's see how long it takes for someone to follow the law.

They did the same thing at the big protest in March. Not only was it not on the front page the next day, there was nothing in the rest of the paper. Nor on the following days. I was quite amazed, visiting from the west coast, where these rallies are covered, even in small towns. Such a tool, Strib.

They are intentionally sidelining intelligent, rational people so that no one's left to say that this administration has no clothes. Our country is led by folks reared on Maury Povich and So Cal yogis.

Here's the context, my fellow @startribune.bsky.social subscribers. Yesterday saw THE LARGEST AMERICAN PROTESTS SINCE EARTH DAY (which was a huge deal in 1970. Really! DDT wasn't banned until 1972!).

They ignored it.

It had to have been on the front page. And it needed to have ignored the truly bizarre Republican press release. The both sides-isms they practice anytime they cover an issue important to the left are gross.

It feels like there is no vehicle safe in the hands of a person with psychopathic or juvenile tendencies. But e-bikes are not going away – – they are only becoming more useful. The fact that suburbs have so many shared ped-bike paths highlights the need for separated bike infrastructure.

Can you imagine running a newspaper as a billionaire and not being able to cover an event that happened at 3:00 p.m. the previous day?

The way that Taylor has been out-reporting the Strib is both a massive credit to Taylor and an embarrassment to the state’s largest media outlet. The levels of completeness and factuality in Taylor’s reporting is truly impressive.

It would be nice if the editors at the Strib were paying attention.
