Both of my grandpa's were Antifa. They fought (one in Europe and one in the Pacific) during WWII. They never spoke of it. I think of how horrible it must have been and how they probably would do the same thing again. I'm grateful for the people who do the right thing, especially when it's tough.

Lack of healthcare for all is political violence.

Wearing a T-shirt with a cross on it and having a pleasant conversation doesn't equal 'a great person because of their beliefs.' Yet I hear this time and time again. A high school athlete who first thanks god after a game doesn't a good person make. (It doesn't make them bad either)

Maybe both are pure. I grew up Catholic but did things for others because they were the right thing to do, not for salvation. I struggle with people assigning value to actions because of religion.
