Was just viscerally reminded that it was only a couple years ago where I was truly like, "What the heck is Chat Jeepity?" and now it's causing people King-in-Yellow style psychosis while steadily immolating the planet

I’ve noticed a cultural change toward everyone bringing their own information with them, and it being tech-dependent

You used to have paper tickets. Now you need a QR code on your phone.

There used to be subway maps everywhere. Now you need an app.

There used to be public clocks.

Dear Mr. Clegg

I have started a business, selling the contents of your house

I knew when I launched I did not have legal access your house

Without this access my company will not be profitable

Others have told me I have a flawed business model, but I disagree

Please advise how I should proceed

In the old Channel 4 sitcom, Chelmsford 123, they ended a drought by declaring a bank holiday. It works to this day.

Various salads on a large melamine serving dish with a Portuguese tile design

First barbecue of the year today, and I’ve gone overboard on the salads. Plain cut veg for fussy boy child, celeriac and apple remoulade, coleslaw and (not pictured) orange, fennel and rocket salad. Chillies just for me to go with the jerk chicken, that was just for me.

Momentarily wondered how Gerard Butler could have teamed up with Phil, Rex, Charlie and Zakk without me having heard about it. Doesn’t help having a poster reminiscent of the Damageplan cover.

Appropriately, for George Miller’s 80th birthday, Nathan and I have been playing Games Workshop’s greatest game ever, Dark Future. He made up his own rules where the bikes go BOOOOOOM! A lot. #warhammercommunity

My favourite thing about wine pairings, apart from using it to explain the flavour profile and get a customer excited about drinking it, is tasting the wine and getting inspired for a menu. One of the best meals I ever cooked was because I had an exceptional GrΓΌner Veltliner and got inspired.

Features | Why a little wine pairing knowhow is useful People say wine pairing advice makes wine unnecessarily complicated but suppose it just makes it much more enjoyable? And it’s an easy skill to acquire.

People sometimes have a pop at food and wine pairing on the basis it makes meals more complicated. Here's why I think it simply makes eating more joyful www.matchingfoodandwine.com/news/feature...
