In many ways, I felt those visual distortions mirrored the conceptual blur between physical and virtual worlds, an apt metaphor for augmented reality itself, and our evolving relationship with the devices that shape how we see.

That left me with only a small window to shoot through, literally. It wasn’t an ideal setup, but then again, photojournalism rarely is.

So I adapted. Instead of forcing a clean image, I chose to embrace the bending light, depth, and layered reflections on the glass.
