Next time I have the urge to go to a big-box store I hope I remember that birds exist and go find some instead.

I saw a crane-or-heron on the way to Ikea yesterday. I should have just stopped and watched it for awhile. I left Ikea empty-handed after being frustrated by the lack of spacial awareness of my fellow shoppers. The crane-or-heron was gone by the time I got back.

This new Geese album sounds so much like Baby Walrus / Big Harp to me. Which is good because those bands rule.

This new Asher White album is so fucking good. The random techno interludes, the noise, the subtle parts. She's so good at layering. Anyway, go order it on vinyl and you may get to listen before it actual comes out on September 12.

We could fully fund the switch to clean energy with taxes on AI.

Been loving using @record.club to track albums I've been meaning to listen to (via the Queue functionality). I've been throwing upcoming stuff in there but also stuff that I've been meaning to dive into but for whatever reason never have (or have but not in an attentive way).

My new, vintage drum machine comes today. I'm very excited to finally put drummers (like myself) out of business.

Where do people buy nice, high-quality prescription glasses? Been using Warby Parker for years but wanna try something else. Looking at Moscot but they seem a bit pricey.

Really digging NotePlan (noteplan.co) for my daily note taking. Considering switching over from Obsidian.

Working on creating cassette versions of my band’s three old albums in prep for our fourth. It's gonna be nice having these back in print – even in this limited manner.

This is very exciting! I can't wait.

I'm thinking about ditching SCSS entirely and switching over to modern CSS (utilizing Lightning CSS). Anybody else make this switch?

I guess I'll start posting here. Mainly about work since that's what I used Twitter for.
