21.06.2025 02:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Another highlight of training at @cumedicalschool.bsky.social! Many Interns arrive with no previous income, but large moving expenses (usually as credit card debt, short-term loans, etc.). The goal of this is to help alleviate the financial hardship experienced by Interns at the start of residency.
11.06.2025 18:33 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0We've got you covered! Our residents and fellows are offered top-rate health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Not to mention flexible spending accounts, childcare benefits, and retirement plans.
12.06.2025 19:33 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Free parking, you say? That's right! Our residents and fellows enjoy covered parking costs at all our main training sites.
16.06.2025 21:37 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0We strive to help our residents and fellows be the best! To do that, they need to feel their best. That's why we have built a robust network of mental health and wellbeing tools for our trainees to access π§

10.04.2025 20:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0OUR VALUES π€
Our vision and mission point us toward our goal. Commitment to our values is how we stay on the right path. π§ Our values are at the core of every decision we make, every relationship we build, and every detail of our daily work.
OUR VALUES π€
We think and act based on our values in our work to support our programs, and our residents do the same to support their patients. This is how we train first-rate physicians who deliver the best patient careπ«Ά
Things we value in our residents, fellows, programs leaders and GME staff. Look for a couple of these today.

10.04.2025 20:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0From New Orleans to DC. This time to present our (very) early work on a multi source dashboard for residents, fellows and programs. Residents come with and make even more data, how do they see it and focus their education? How do programs know what effect theyβre really having on their learners?
10.04.2025 19:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Day 5/6 of laying out the mission. How do you ensure excellence? You expose residents and fellows to all the great things they can do as physician leaders, help them find their passion, then work with them to make it possible. Get those elements right and it wonβt even take βstrivingβ, tbh.
08.04.2025 20:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0OUR MISSION | ENSURE β
We are committed to ensuring residents and fellows strive for excellence in patient care, teaching, research, and scholarship and establish the foundation of lifelong learning.
Joy, curiosity, discovery. When I speak about βcultivatingβ excellence, this is what Iβm talking about. Doing everything to till that soil and make a rich environment for our learners and educators. This is a HUGE task with 100βs of things required to make it happen. Thatβs the job.
07.04.2025 22:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0OUR MISSION | CREATING π¬ππ
We are committed to creating an environment where faculty and staff model joy in academic discovery, curiosity, effective problem solving and unfailing professionalism.

06.04.2025 11:56 β π 2 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0Day 3 of the mission: caring for the amazing people who allow our residents and fellows to do what they do. It takes an enormous team to cultivate excellence and to innovate. A big part of what we do in CU GME it to care for that team, inside and outside our offices. Thank you all.
04.04.2025 15:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0OUR MISSION | CARE π
We are committed to caring for those who provide the support and structure of our training programs β our GME team, program coordinators, and educational associates β with the same regard we have for our doctors. These teams are the backbone of any successful GME program. π
The vision is simple, the mission has several components. Yesterday, providing leadership and education. Today, supporting our residents and fellows in all the ways they need to be successful and independent. I know housestaff training can be challenging, that's why we're here.
03.04.2025 18:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0OUR MISSION | SUPPORT πͺ
We are committed to supporting our learners in all ways while they undergo a crucible change in a physically and emotionally demanding endeavor. Being a resident or fellow can be an incredibly challenging process. Rest assured--we've got your back!
Honored to present at the 4th annual Sterling West Symposium this morning. Thanks @curhuematology.bsky.social for the warm welcome for a very amateur rheumatologist, full time pulmonologist, and educator @cu-gme.bsky.social. The future of GME lies in competency, individualized experience, and data.
