I bought an old mahogany bureau on Ebay. I didn't really want a bureau as we're meant to be downsizing, but it was a beautiful piece & obviously very old. Google lens suggests the brass chased handles are Queen Anne. That's 1702-1714 😯

It's a lot more transferable if you're doing corporate cross border stuff like M&A or some other things to do with the financial sectors, but other areas like the ones you and I practice in, not so much. Re-qualifying is also stupidly expensive.

Haha, yeah, I can't deal with beach/resort holidays. I usually need a holiday after my holiday since I tend to just be constantly on the move. I think my 'relax' day would be a day of just aimlessly wandering around a city/town without a plan. Other days would be outings all over. 😅

I've been on vacations that are 2-3 weeks long, but don't stay in one place for the whole time.

Wow! Pretty!! I can't remember the last time I spent 9 days straight at a hotel, 3-4 nights max.

Msn, I wish I could cancel a Disney+ subscription in protest, but I never signed up for it in the first place on account knowing their moral bankruptcy ab arche and not trusting them with an inch of my data. So all I can do is badmouth them on an obscure social media account. Boooo!!! :P
